Remember who you really are.
My mom said this to us sometimes. “Remember who you are,” she would say as we left the house.
I didn’t realize what she meant. But who am I, really? I am a daughter of God. That is who I really am. And if I remember that, if I remember that I have divine potential and that I have a Heavenly Father who loves me, I act differently. I put off the childish things.
This quote helped me especially when I was struggling with how to motivate myself to get off the computer and stop wasting my time. If I remember who I really am, I have the tools to make the right decisions and to spend my time in doing those things that matter most.
